Leopard

The other day my family and I took a day trip to Nottingham. I have never been to that part of England so was looking forward to seeing it and how it differs from London. Which is massively btw- firstly, there was space to walk on the pavement! Furthermore, I have a friend who is a fellow law graduate that lives there, and thankfully we were able to meet up in the town centre, albeit for a brief time. We had fun while we could, taking pictures and catching up- we even got stopped by professional photographers wanting to take our pictures for like a good 20 mins. Haha! Really random, but fun!

Me with my mate Issie (right) and her sister!! They both had work hence the office looks! Check out her blog

As it was a warmish day, I decided to bare my legs! Thank God we were in the car travelling during the times it rained. I love this skirt. Leopard pattern is awesome- so bold, doesn't need to be worn with any other patterns-sometimes haha. Pairing it with the mustard sweater made each piece pop, even more so with a little sun shining on me! The boots are really comfy. A nice little heel which boost my high, which is always a plus. I've always wanted boots like these- tan with aztec patterns. Who would have thought I'll find them in Primark?! Haha.

Found the necklace in my forest of jewelry last minute- and I'm glad I did. Love and miss the green gems. Have not worn this baby in a while!

Uh, All American!

*Side note- the title of this post is from the song called 'No Interruptions' from Hoodie Allen- check out his rapping skillz! So hear that bit and imagine me saying the title like that haha!! Anyways...

I got my hair did! Decided to go for red (well a red, winey color) for fall! I love changing my hair as I get quite bored with styles and I am confident enough to do trail and error styles with my hair- obviously with the aim of trail and success haha. (Well, its just about getting used to it for a period of time anyways- you get me?). Anyways...Tell me what you think! :D Would love to hear your views on it-the style/color!!

Saturday gone I met up with some mates of mine that I studied in California with. One of them is actually here on holiday from her homeland Taiwan and I went to surprise her at her (very lavish) hostel- and it went off without a glitch- yay! If only you could have seen her face- priceless! I'm proud that we managed to pull it off.
In anticipation of her arrival, I booked us three a table at Joe's Southern Kitchen and Bar in Covent Garden (more details in next post!) and these shots were taken on our walk there! I spotted this big red installation on the Southbank from the bridge above and was eager to take the pictures next to it!

"The Shed" by  Haworth Tompkins.

I decided to sport red, white and blue for the occasion- it was the first time us three had been reunited since chilling on campus in Cali! (Ahhh I hear you say haha!). The top is from Primark and I love it! Printed tees are really comfy cool and I liked the image on this one, quite retro and distressed looking I think. I'm looking forward to paring it with dungarees! I've had these high waisted shorts for forever now- seriously, cannot remember when I got them, but I'm glad they have lasted me soooo long. Hardly wear them, but when I do, they perk up an outfit. Finally, I decided to wear my go to flatforms with the silver glittery base for a touch of spark! The cardigan was just for when it got nippy! Which, happily, wasn't till late evening :D

Thanks Troy for taking the photos! Shot taken by Anny!
By this point he had had enough of me (as always!)! I get quite bossy and all directorial when taking pictures...opps!
With awesome Anny. (My hand looks like a claw!)
Our failed attempt at a jump shot. Trust me, we are usually much better!
THANKS for stopping by! Until next time.

From Ghana, With Love.

Top- New Look
Pants- Ghana
Shoes- ASOS
Just a quick one- again. I went to Portobello Road, West Road, with my friends the other day. We met for desert and jams (music haha), have not seen each other since my birthday do. Anyways, we went for the evening so no lovely market stall shots to show you- next time. I opted for these pants my mother got me whilst she was in Ghana. I've had them for about 3 years and I've only worn them twice- shame on me. So comfortable and I love them! Decided to show some skin too. I'm embracing my body more- and I suggest you do the same- work on what you want to improve, if there's anything- as that's the only option- WORK!

Hope revision is going well. Until next time!

Seriously, THANK GOD for Instagram! Often I have no time to dedicate to take pictures for my blog, during this exam period, so, to suffice, I do 'outfit of the day' posts on ig. Best way forward! Haha! Some pictures I have turned into posts, but most not. May do another one during this exam period.
Exams are fast approaching- good luck all.

Last Sunday after church, I met up with Issie, from Issie's-Vision, and went to a car boot sale in Kingston at Tiffin Boy's School. Though we only caught the end of it, I think that was a blessing in disguise- I didn’t want to spend too much! And I didn’t! Woo hoo! In under an hour I copped some really good deals (that I’m sure you’ll see here soon). In total I spent £7.50 and left with 7 things. Car boot sales are a must if you want the incredible deals.  I have to say it, I felt a little nostalgic, had not been to one (or done one) since I was a kid-the atmosphere was great!
It was a sunny day in Kingston, so I opted for my loose dungarees. I have not worn this bad boy in ages. It so nice to discover clothes that you’ve had for a while and wear them feeling all brand new. The crop top- I LOVE-got It at a vintage fair around 2 years back. Sun was out so wanted to show some skin haha. The jellys are from RI, another piece I’ve had for a good while. Guess my outfit was all about wearing the old, as if they were new! Haha. Fits in well with the car boot sale.
