Monotone.

I recently attended a BBQ for a university friend-it was like a mini reunion! It was so great to see everyone again after quite a while! It was a good old catch up! Anyways, outfit wise, I just went for the go-to colours when you feel like you got nothing to wear yet there is a fully stocked wardrobe staring right back at ya! (Don't get me wrong- I'm totally appreciative). Can I just say for myself- how awesomely cute are my flatform jellies. I've been asked numerous times and no, they ain't Juju jellies, I saw them in a shoe store in Westfield and knew I had to have them. I have not seen flatform jellies on anyone before so that was another incentive. Plus, I love anything that gives me height! Win win! Haha!
Black and white with a slash of red never fails...I mean, it's impossible to fail haha!!

Mini haul-my latest buys!

This is my first time doing a post of this sort, but I got so excited when I hit the 'confirm payment' button that I wanted to share my awesome finds with you all. This summer I haven't done THAT much shopping- which I'm pretty proud of haha! But the other day, I decided to treat myself to the AWESOME ASOS sale! I don't know about you, but I LOVE me some ASOS! Their variety is off the chain! And their sales are something else.

Here's my latest purchases from the site. Have you got them? Tell me what you think. :D

So, on the front, it's just a plain white tee...

But the back is sooo awesome with '1991' stated vertically on it!!

That's the year I made my presence on this earth, and as soon as I saw this tee I knew it was going in my shopping basket! Seriously! I have been on the lookout for a top/dress- something along these lines, and I  have seen a few before this one, but they just weren't right. Thank God this one came into my path haha.
I got it for £6 from £14 and a couple of sizes bigger to rock it as a dress sorta top. I see myself rocking it with heels and jeans. We'll see... :D
I love the color blocking and reckon they will just about go with EVERYTHING! ...

...And the satin gives it a little extra class for a heeled sandal!

I had been looking at these for a while and seeing them now on sale for £14 from £45 (!!!) I knew they had to be mine. They remind me of my black strap heels from Office, but a colorful version obviously. I love the chunky thickness of the heel too- always a plus.

I love me some monochrome, and this dress is perfect!

I love the high neck line, the midi length and the drop back. It screams sophistication and elegance to me.

I love how the ASOS designers have taken black and white and made it into such a fun, patterned , vibrant monochrome dress, full of drama! It's like it was made for me! It's a bodycon fit too, so my curves will definitely be on display! I got it in the sale for £11.50 from £35- another amazing deal!

All of my purchases are from the ASOS brand! And these pictures are off the ASOS website. ASOS is so cool and I always look forward to seeing what they have in store... don't you?! :D

Until next time.

Camden Coffee House

Last week Thursday I met up with my mates Chrissie (Butter) and Amirah (Valu) for lunch and a good ol' catch up. It was actually a day to celebrate too- as my exams results came in on Wednesday- and I'm pleased to say I GOT A FIRST in my law undergraduate degree! Woo hoo! My hard work paid off and I couldn't be any happier.
We started the day at Camden Coffee House. Located just opposite Sainsbury's is where you'll find this cute, chic and boutique coffee house. The sun was blazing so how could we not sit in their hidden garden. It felt very secluded- hence why it is a hidden one I guess. Butter ordered strawberry tea which tasted divine, I opted for a banana and strawberry smoothie, with a piece of banana bread. Now, I am a sucker for banana bread- I reckon I can live off that alone for a week! Though I doubt that's wise. I can say without hesitation that that banana bread was simply the best! Seriously, if you are a lover of banana bread like myself, you MUST try it at Camden Coffee House.

Everyone meet the beauitful Butter. Well, Chrissie. Check out her awesome blog on all things natural!

Have you noticed that baby picture?? Top left hand corner! So CUTE! Haha

The service was very warm and friendly, the guy actually pulled a few jokes with us. Their menu is superb and I'm sure you'll find what you want for lunch there! I do not drink coffee, but I'm sure they do have the best coffee in Camden, like they claim. I say the prices are reasonable, but hey! They could always be cheaper! Haha! It's a great place to chill alone, or with mates, or with a book and abuse their free wifi!

The Netherlands- Day Four

Dress- TK Max (!!)
Shoes- New Look
On the last day in The Netherlands, we had no set itinerary so decided to explore the town and see what it had to offer. I managed to pack into the last day a visit to the Anne Frank museum, the torture museum and vintage clothes shopping! Happy days! I opted for this beautiful dress as it was forecast to be a lovely day, but it ended up being seriously windy and rained a little too. Annoying. But anyways, I had a nice time seeing the sights and enhancing my knowledge on international criminal law justice systems. And I love travelling, so this was another one to put down in the books!!

I saw this lady on the bus with this awesome bag. I immediately complimented her on it and asked where she got it from- South Africa! Ahh! I can't wait to get myself there! Hopefully I get such a cool find!! HAD to take a pictures with it-it's so creative!!

It goes with my outfit!

I LOVE this dress my mother got for me a while ago. It can be worn anywhere- a GREAT holiday piece!

Love shopping!! Will blog about my find soon! :D
Listen to the poster and SMILE! Haha!
So this post marks the end of my adventures in The Netherlands! It was a a great, educational, fun trip.
Have you been to The Netherlands? What did you think of it?

The Netherlands- Day Two, Part Two.

I didn't want to make the last post too lengthy, so decided to make a second post for the second day evening's escapades!
Less than a 5 minute walk from our hostel was the beach! Awesome! But, none of us came equip for a swim, plus it was too nippy for such activities, so hey ho!. So the evening was spent at a beach side open restaurant, taking in the views, sunset and having a good old natter with everyone. Oh! And some frolicking on the beach- I mean, how could we not!!

Where we hung out.

Shirt and Skirt- Primark
Shoes- New Look
Sunglasses- Ray.bans
Brassy gold color- Boutique in L.A.

They gave us blankets when it was getting really nippy! How thoughtful!
I must have been thinking I'm on a modelling shoot! Haha!
Excuse the paleness of the legs- its the sand! :D
I LOVE the beach! Do you? :D
Hope you liked the pictures! :D More to come from Holland!! Have you been Den Haag?! What did you think of it?

The Netherlands- Day Two

Pants, Shirt, Caridgan, Bag- Primark
Flatforms- New Look
The second day of our trip to The Netherlands was spent in Den Haag. We visited the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) where we were given talks about the functions of the ICTY and briefly watched the KARADZIC trail (more on him later). The whole trip was an amazing opportunity that I could not pass up, as being an opportunist and an individual that is VERY VERY (have I emphasised that enough?!) passionate about international criminal law, seeing this trail gave me more hope in humanity and that justice has a chance of prevailing. I took pictures outside-for outfit purposes too- as visitors are not permitted to take pictures inside.

The ICTY

During our time at the ICTY we had the chance to have an audience with the really down to earth Peter Robinson and his interns. Mr Robinson is an amazing lawyer aiding Karadzic in his trail, even though Karadzic has chosen to defend himself. We were informed of his legal background and Karadzic's past, the current status of his trail, as well as what the whole process would entail. Mr Robinson is an incredibly humble and intelligent lawyer who didn't hold anything back- giving up his honest opinions and all in the Q&A!
Karadzic has been accused by the ICTY of genocide, crimes against humanity and violations of the laws and customs of war. For more information on Karadzic's trail, check out this link, where now he is demanding the dismissal of his case! Read up more about him you are interested in international criminal law like myself, he is a character!

Upon writing this, I aimed to make the content quite brief, not to bore my lovely readers not interested in  law. But law is one of the many things I am passionate about- so I wanted to give it justice. No pun intended.
The only picture taken with Mr Peter Robinson (middle). Sorry, it's blurry.
The whole gang!
Hope you enjoyed reading and liked my 'smart' look!
