MTV Movie Awards: My 10 best dressed.

Sorry for the lack of posts recently, Easter was busy, plus work, plus... I could go on! Haha! Anyways, back to it...
I know I am a tad late with this post, nevertheless, I am still loving what I saw some celebrities wore to the MTV Movie Awards! And besides, their overall trends to me are quite inspiring for Spring/Summer. Take note people!
TEN
This is sweet. Like high school prom sweet. Chrissy looks very cute in it. The colour is very pale, and with it being so, I think she could have added some statement jewelry to it. Regardless, the puffed skirt is what makes this better than your average dress. Great touch.
NINE
This dress is great for a night out (with a warm breeze haha). White is big this season, and it's a great colour to rock- remember it is all about having the confidence. Arden Cho looks cute and simple in this mesh panel number. It is ideal to add a pop of colour to a outfit like this, like she has with her clutch.
EIGHT
Rihanna always knows how to rock an outfit- I think this girl would have a bin liner flying off the shelves if she was seen wearing one!! This whole 'night time' look actually works I think. The play-suit is very sexy and with this light dressing gown, I mean, cardigan, the look is very workable. The delicate jewelry is perfect with this look- nothing heavy is needed.
SEVEN
This is a really cute number. And the colour is different from what is usually worn on the red carpet. I love it. From the pleated skirt to the knot in the top- it really is a sweet outfit. The black heels compliment it too. I probably would have worn perhaps a black and gold necklace or some sort, as I feel it's looking a bit bare up top. Nevertheless, I'm definitely getting inspiration from this 'fit!
SIX
Rita Ora is oozing sexy appeal like never before in this dress! I would LOVE to wear something like this! One day eh! With this plunge line, no statement jewelry is needed. The dress is doing all the talking. And black is the perfect colour, as the neckline is what's important about this dress. Pockets too are a plus! Finished with a slash of red on the lips- this outfit rocks!!
FIVE
Jessica Alba looks summer ready here! With her gorgeous complexions, these two colours work like a charm and compliment her wonderfully. I'm not sure about the big bulky black bag, but nevertheless,, she is looking sweet and actually quite sophisticated (In a summary sort of way). I love her hair too. This colour is working for her.
FOUR
Rosci looks so cute and sweet here. I am loving the all white look this season, and this is a good take on it. Bey recently wore a smiliar outfit like this over the Easter- The skater skirt is so now and perfect for this weather. It's the laser cut outs that really makes the outfit though- love it! Cute and simple, yet, it makes a statement
THREE
Sorry Lupita, you are not number one this time- but I still love this outfit- and you!! You may know, I am a lover of colour- I embrace it and not shy away from it- and this outfit is colour overload! Love!! Now, the different texture combinations are very interestng and different, which makes this outfit even better and more unique. Why play it safe? That's boring. You're meant to have fun with fashion!! And Lupita, these days uou seem to be having a whale of a time!! Oh, with these court shoes, in this blue, the outfit is perfectly completed.
TWO
Ellie, girl, you look amazing! I think the best I've seen you look actually. This all white number really works. I like the pocket detail too- gives it a little something more. The minimal jewelry look is what this dress needs, as it does bad all by itself! Haha! Perfect for summer and those evenings in the breeze.
ONE
This dress it something else!! I LOVE Zendaya Coleman's style- whether dressed down or dressed up, she has the confidence to rock any outfit! The colours work together well here and the split just compliments it all. I love the yellow block finish of the dress and I don't think I could have chosen a better pair of heels myself to go with this stunning Emanuel Ungaro piece.

What do you think about how I ranked them? Which is your fav?

Until next time,

Five Guys.

Have you heard of Five Guys? Of course you have!
I recently went to the Five Guys in Leicester Square, with a friend and I have to say, I think it's the best burger and fries I've had at a London eatery! Seriously, everything was fresh and deliciously tasty. It was pleasantly surprising to see that they did not use any freezers on the premises, and the fact that 'little' fries and a 'little' cheeseburger, were really large portions that filled me right up!! I loved how the kicthen area was so open too, they have nothing to hid. Oh, and the food came foiled wrapped and in these brown American style grocery bags- soooo unique! Nice change from those diner red containers eh!
You can also picked up some free peanuts if you fancy!
It's a great hangout spot, hours can past before you realise haha. Just get there before it gets busy, you'll be waiting outside in the cold. But... it'll be worth it!
I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Until next time,

Dinner at Jamie's

Last week for my mate Anny's birthday we went for dinner at Jamie's Italian. As it was her birthday, she chose, obviously. Now, I'm not one for choosing an Italian restaurant to go and have dinner (especially over say an awesome Chinese or Thai joint) as I always saw it as seriously simple food that I can make at home for half the price or even more. Which I guess everything is when it comes down to it. Nevertheless, I am glad she choose Jamie's, as I was thoroughly pleased with what I randomly chose and knew that I would not be making that myself anytime soon!
I could definitely taste the freshness of the pasta and the delicious, oh so delicious crab with its accompanying ingredients. I got a large and wanted more! Was not feeling the portion size to be honest. But still loved it. Great vibe, great food equals good times.

A sort of bird's eye view of our grub! We ordered (from bottom left clockwise) the crab spaghettini, prawn linguine, vongole tagliolini, Jimmy's farm Italian sausage, posh chips, funky chips and spring pea and mint ravioli. And yes, we all agree that they were as delicious as they look!

A beautiful sight. My crab spaghettini.
It felt like it was gone in 60 seconds!

Everything was  so fresh and tasty! Great job chefs!
Now on to the desert. We all decided to get the same epic brownie- but with different ice cream flavors. After having it, I fully understood why they called it epic. Because it is. The warmness of the chocolate sauce combined with the moist brownie and fresh cold vanilla ice cream made it so good, this too was gone in 60 seconds. The popcorn was a added bonus, giving the desert some crunch.

Regarding the interior, I absolutely loved it. I felt like I was in a fully functioning kitchen and pantry all in one. It felt very homely indeed, and the booth we got made the night extra special. We went to the one located in Covent Garden (seems like we have a thing for Covent Garden haha) which is surrounded by beautiful street garnishing- I'm talking about the flowers. At night, it really lightened up the place! You should go and see it if you are able to get to Covent Garden.

Outfit wise, I just bunged on what was closest to me! I love this jumper dress, it's very comfy and warm, but cannot be worn alone- it's far to short. I paired it with my mini bodycon skirt just to keep the look cute and simple.
Jumper dress-Misguided
Skirt- F21 in the States
Shoes (Flatforms)- ASOS

Blurry, but you get it!
With the birthday girl! Thanks for being in London on your birthday, another reason to go out and celebrate! :D

Stay blessed, blessed ones.

Joe's Southern Kitchen & Bar

Located in the heart of Covent Garden is this awesome American restaurant. It is a SOUTHERN American restaurant (not South America haha) which I say makes it that much more epic! Everything was fried with an inch of its life, and I got to say- I really enjoyed it. I didn't get the chance to visit places such as Atlanta and Louisiana whilst I was in the States, and, watching a lot of Man v Food made me really want to go to this place after finding it online!!

What should I order? There was a vast variety of chicken haha!
The interior of the restaurant was really nice. It portrayed Southern American culture very well I reckon. It was very dark, warm and kind of homely. It made me feel comfortable and relax! It's not a massive restaurant, but that's irrelevant as you feel secluded at your table with your mates- well I did!

Now on to the food! We pigged out! Seriously. We got excited reading the menu- it took us back to the States and we wanted to try everything! We got lots of yummy yummy starters to share (though the others didn't like the cornbread, so I had that all to myself), and our very large mains and sexy cocktails. I got a strawberry daiquiri of course! Wouldn't have minded a larger glass though...

Our drinks: Coke, Strawberry daiquiri, Virgin mojito.

Our snacks/starters: Popcorn shrimp, Corn bred, Coq 'n' balls and Southern friend wings. The wings were everything! So succulent  crispy and meaty! And with the homemade BBQ sauce they were more than everything! They could be had for breakfast, lunch and dinner in my opinion!!

Our mains: (left) Chicken under a brick w/ Southern fried potatoes, Joe's Long Horn burger, and mine- Joe's Southern Fried Chicken! My mains was so good and seriously filing- I took two big pieces home, and that was half a bird!! Imagine I got a whole!! I'm not much of a potato person, but these well seasoned, soft potatoes hit the spot!

Let me know if you go/have been to Joe's!! :D
