Mini haul-my latest buys!

This is my first time doing a post of this sort, but I got so excited when I hit the 'confirm payment' button that I wanted to share my awesome finds with you all. This summer I haven't done THAT much shopping- which I'm pretty proud of haha! But the other day, I decided to treat myself to the AWESOME ASOS sale! I don't know about you, but I LOVE me some ASOS! Their variety is off the chain! And their sales are something else.

Here's my latest purchases from the site. Have you got them? Tell me what you think. :D

So, on the front, it's just a plain white tee...

But the back is sooo awesome with '1991' stated vertically on it!!

That's the year I made my presence on this earth, and as soon as I saw this tee I knew it was going in my shopping basket! Seriously! I have been on the lookout for a top/dress- something along these lines, and I  have seen a few before this one, but they just weren't right. Thank God this one came into my path haha.
I got it for £6 from £14 and a couple of sizes bigger to rock it as a dress sorta top. I see myself rocking it with heels and jeans. We'll see... :D
I love the color blocking and reckon they will just about go with EVERYTHING! ...

...And the satin gives it a little extra class for a heeled sandal!

I had been looking at these for a while and seeing them now on sale for £14 from £45 (!!!) I knew they had to be mine. They remind me of my black strap heels from Office, but a colorful version obviously. I love the chunky thickness of the heel too- always a plus.

I love me some monochrome, and this dress is perfect!

I love the high neck line, the midi length and the drop back. It screams sophistication and elegance to me.

I love how the ASOS designers have taken black and white and made it into such a fun, patterned , vibrant monochrome dress, full of drama! It's like it was made for me! It's a bodycon fit too, so my curves will definitely be on display! I got it in the sale for £11.50 from £35- another amazing deal!

All of my purchases are from the ASOS brand! And these pictures are off the ASOS website. ASOS is so cool and I always look forward to seeing what they have in store... don't you?! :D

Until next time.

I Pledge Allegiance to the Flag!

I have had such a busy week, and it’s still not over! It’s been university and events galore! Wednesday was awesome! I became American again haha! I spent my day having lunch with a group of Americans here in the U.K. for spring break, and the evening with them line dancing!! That was an experience. Haha. I’ve posted photos of my ‘peppers’ inspired outfit and photos from the dance. It took place in a warehouse with was cool. It felt like we found an abandoned space and just went wild. We did a ‘harlem shake’ video! You should have seen my excitement! Since I've been seeing them- I’ve wanted to do one. We’re young, wild and free!! Seriously, I just met these wonderful, God-fearing people this week and feel like I have known them for a while. Thank God we met- and thank God for facebook haha!! Safe journey home dudes and much love!!

Regarding my outfit, I think I literally just threw it together. Have you got pants in your wardrobe that you couldn’t wear because you gained weight (because you spent a year in the States eating at every restaurant that caught your eye!!!!!!) and then lost weight and they fitted again??! Well these red pants are it for me! I was so happy when they went up- it proved that my hard work and determination in the gym is showing results! If you are not happy about something-change it!

Below are the pictures of the ‘hoe down’!! It was so much fun learning traditional South Carolina line dancing and just simply spending my night with Americans who are here to experience the British culture.  In turn, I got to experience the American culture all over again.

F.Y.I. This guy knows how to TWERK!! He taught me!! Haha.

My awesome American friends! I miss you guys!! Y'all are awesome!

Year '22' Begins...

F.Y.I: This is a photo heavy post! Enjoy! :D

I taste good! Haha!

My beautiful, stylish mother and I.

Thanks for the awesome food chefs!

LOVE all the presents I received! Thanks beauties!

MY AMAZING, BEST-OF-THE-BEST, GOOD ENOUGH TO BE A WEDDING CAKE, CAKE! Thanks mother, did an awesome job with the design!! And taste sooooo good <3

I had a lovely birthday yesterday! Very relaxed (well somewhat!). Turning 22 is not one of the big ‘milestones’ I say- next one for me is 25-nonetheless, I am thankful to God for allowing me to live to see my 22nd birthday and for all the wonderful family and friends that were there to make my night! In my 21 years on this earth, I have been blessed to have done so many things around the world- from studying in California for a year, attending summer school in China and spending a month in the United Arab Emirates to perform for millions with my theatre company.  I am truly thankful to those that made things happen and look forward to my future adventures.

I celebrated my birthday with family and 10 awesome friends at ‘Kimchee’. A Korean restaurant located in Holborn, Central London. I can now say that I have fallen in love with the place-the food and the decor make it perfect. For a Wednesday night, the place was buzzing, but my guest and I were somewhat secluded from it all, which I loved- it felt we had a private suite haha. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough; I am looking forward to going back- you can get full on starters alone!

Like I said my day was somewhat relaxed as at the restaurant I was so hyper and excited. Pictures were just being taken left, right and center! No surprise haha. While editing through my pictures, I really wanted to limit the amount I put on my blog. I have, I guess, but obviously it’s still loads! Haha! If you want, you can check out my whole album on facebook.

Regarding my outfit, I don’t think I made time to take an ‘outfit shot’, sorry. I went for pastels and prints- which I love, separate and together. I received so many complements on my hair and outfit and I felt it was the right choice of wear for a 22nd. Compared to my 20th, where I wore a gown! Haha.

Have you been to ‘Kimchee’? What do you think of the restaurant? Hope you like the pictures!
