Apologies for the gap between this
post and the last, but I actually was in TURKEY for a week!! (AND this
post was meant to be up ages ago- but stupid technical difficulties!!
:/) I had a quick getaway with a good friend of mine- before law school
started! Yup! It's back to school! We met 2 years ago, when we studied in China and we don't get
to see each other often (she lives in Weston-Super-Mare, heard of it?
Haha!), so Turkey was a great opportunity to get together and create
more travelling shenanigans, like we did in China! PLUS, she is SUPER
excited that she is finally mentioned on the blog! I see you smiling
Alicia! Haha!
Check out below some snapshots of my holiday. It was fabulous, hot (!!) and an experience to say the least!!
En route to Bristol Airport!!
Alicia's dad was obsessed with my name! Haha! He was saying it in ways I've never heard!!
Nope! None were for me! Haha!
The sea bass was truly welcomed in my stomach! Haha! I want some now!
Jeep Safari!
Bar Street- a must visit in Marmaris!
Lazy day boat trip!
We actually missed the return boat to Marmaris (by less than a minute may I add! When they say 3pm, they mean 3pm!!) so we just chilled on the beach longer in Turunc and got a bus back!! Not a bad consequence!
Turkish Bath glow! It is A MUST to do in Turkey. We felt so refreshed and calm after! Loved it!
Night cruise.
Last day spent on a boat and the beach! And mud bath!!
Don't we look lovely?! Haha!!
King's Tombs
Have you been to Turkey? How did you find it?
We were predominately in Marmaris. It was awesome, but not the most authentic place in Turkey you can go, In fact, it's the most touristic place in Turkey, so consider that if you're looking to go Turkey! Oh! And without a doubt- in country have the best conversion rates!! No commission too!
As stated, I started Law School this week! So I apologise in advance if posts are even more sporadic! There may even be a hiatus for a while...don't say I didn't warn you!!
Until next time,
Sx
